Todmorden Edge Farm

Site of the first Methodist Quarterly Meeting on 18 October 1748, intended to bring together the ministers, lay preachers and stewards of the Methodist societies in a particular 'Circuit' of churches.

Today, replaced by 'Circuit Meetings', which occur at least twice annually.
